The Philanthropic Committee steers company giving, organizes Team Member volunteer efforts, and plans ways to give back to our Communities.
The Philanthropic Committee organizes the HammerTime Day of Service, which is a unique program offered by the company. After 90 days of initial employment, Team Members are eligible to take one (1) paid day off per year to spend by volunteering at a non-profit organization. Team Members can serve solo or as part of a group. Group serve days are promoted at Quarterly Meetings, via email, and on myHammersmith.com.
You MUST email your Supervisor to request your Day of Service at least two (2) weeks in advance. If approved, your Supervisor will email it to Caitlin Traub. This is the only way that HammerTime is tracked and rewarded.
