If we receive phone calls with threats of legal action, ALL correspondence between both parties from that point forward needs to be in writing, to preserve accurate documentation of communication, in case an attorney is contacted.
Agents can say something like, “Since you have mentioned an attorney or have threatened legal action, as much as I would like to help you resolve the issue/problems, we are going to need to continue this in writing. Our email address is: CommunityCare@eHammersmith.com. Thank you for making us aware that you are represented by legal counsel. I will also notify the Community Manager.”
Please note the account, and then email the CAM (check Vantaca) to make him/her aware of the situation immediately.
