News and Upcoming Events in Technology Services

Good Afternoon Team!

As we begin Q4 of this year we wanted to touch base on a few items and communicate some important events here at Hammersmith from a Technology Services perspective.

Beginning this Friday, October 6th, two important events will start taking place:

  1. We will begin a weekly Technology communication to all employees that will hopefully keep everyone informed on the tasks, changes, improvements, and general operation of Hammersmith Technology Services. Our goal is to make sure everyone is informed of what has happened, what is currently taking place, and what future events and changes will be coming that will impact everyone.
  2. We are going to start up regular, standardized network and systems maintenance and update times and dates to continue the progress forward that Hammersmith has been making over the last several months. During these maintenance times there will be no access to our network and systems. Starting this Friday, October 6th, we will be performing maintenance over the next FOUR WEEKS every Friday from 10 PM to 6 AM. After that we will be moving to EVERY OTHER WEEK on Friday from 10 PM to 6 AM. This will take place through the end of 2017. Beginning in 2018 we will be performing maintenance and updates once a month on THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH. With this schedule we hope to be ahead of the curve on issues and updates, as well as provide everyone with a specific schedule of when our network and systems will be offline.

We are excited about the continued progress and changes Hammersmith is making to ensure our success and look forward to contributing to that through Technology.
