Clarification on RevoPay ACH Options

Hello All,

We are continuing to receive reports that homeowners are being told there is a fee for setting up ACH through Revopay.  I need to explain different payment options that should help clarify when a fee should and should not be charged.

If a homeowner wants to sign up for ACH (aka Autopay) with no additional fees, please know they are not able to select the payment amount, or the payment date.  We will pull the recurring payment on the 10th of the month, as we have done in the past, and the homeowner is not able to select a specific payment amount.  HMI ACH is referred to as “dynamic auto-pay” or “dynamic ACH” by Revopay.  This is the option that does not include any additional fees.

If a homeowner is trying to set up auto-pay, and they are wanting to select the payment amount and payment date, this is not ACH.  This allows the homeowner to set up recurring payments, and they will be charged additional fees for set up and for each recurring payment made.

Please also note I have confirmed with Revopay they are able to see the homeowner’s account balance, but are not able to see the frequency of assessment charges (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.).  This will have to be verified by the homeowner if they are calling Revopay.

I have added this information in the existing article at MyHMI located at https://myhammersmith.com/knowledge-base/how-do-i-contact-revopay/.

I hope this will help you in trying to handle homeowner calls.  Thanks!
